About Me

Maria T. Slodzinski, is a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) specializing in individual therapy. With over 30 years of clinical experience in a wide variety of health care settings, Dr. Slodzinski returns to private practice in 2023 after serving as the Clinical Director for Maryland of one of the largest national mental health networks in the country.  Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, life transition issues, relationship issues, grief and loss.   

Dr. Slodzinski provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges and develop effective coping skills. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With understanding, compassion, and optimism, she works closely with each client, building on personal strengths and achieving personal growth.
